Homeopathy for Oppositional Defiance and ADHD
TUBERCULINUM is one of my most commonly prescribed children's remedies. Children who need this remedy might typically start with tantrums as a toddler. I have seen some lovely examples of unconsolable toddlers who have turned the house upside down, looking in every drawer, running away, pounding on the floor when they dont get their way, calm down with this remedy. With older children into teenagers you might see this as oppositional defiance; whatever you say they say the opposite. If you say black they say white. The parent can't win! With children on the autistic spectrum or with ADHD we can also see this remedy frequently. They might often try to escape ( the feeling of tuberculinum is wanting to escape, the grass is always greener on the other side). If your child is an escape artist think of tuberculinum first. They might understand what you are requesting but deliberately do the opposite. They hate being told what to do, and the more you ask, the more defiance.
